Legal
Our attorneys provide no cost consultation and assistance regarding all legal matters, except employment law. Also included, at no cost, are simple wills, document review, and making an advocacy phone call or writing a brief letter if it will resolve a legal matter. When legal services are needed beyond the scope of the EAP, a 25% discount off the attorney’s hourly rate is available.
Financial and Credit Counseling, and Seminars
Professional Financial Specialists help participants with debt matters, investment options, money management, and retirement planning. Financial seminars are available on such topics as money management, investment planning strategies, retirement planning and effective use of credit.
Child Care
Our Child Care Specialists help parents assess their child care needs and explore child care options. Referrals are provided for all types of prescreened child care, schools and camps. Resources are contacted to verify immediate openings and to confirm the appropriateness of the referral, saving the employee from needing to conduct such research during the work day.
Adoption Services
This program offers information regarding adoption as well as resources to help those seeking birth parents. Referrals are provided for adoption agencies, attorneys, support groups and post adoption counselors.
Elder Care
We understand how difficult it is to deal with elder concerns. Many people don’t know what services or types of facilities are even available when a crisis creates the need for immediate information. At EAP Consultants, our job is to guide and direct your employees when it’s difficult for them to make sense of their options.
Our geriatric care managers will review the family’s specific situation, outline options, and make appropriate referrals. Resources are contacted to conduct vacancy checks and to ensure that they match the family’s needs. Ongoing support and educational materials are provided to family members.
Pet Care
We provide a customized listing of veterinarians, kennels, sitters, groomers, walkers, breeders and pet publications.
Academic Resources
Consultation and referrals are provided to employees in any stage of their or their child’s educational experience. Services include referrals to tutors for children needing academic assistance, customized profiles of K-12, military and boarding schools, and colleges. Our College Assistance Program facilitates the college search process for both college-bound children as well as the working individual in search of furthering their educational needs.
